LBS publishes real salary data, and the two headline numbers come from different graduating classes — worth knowing before comparing them. The most recent employment figures are the Class of 2025: 86% accepted an offer within three months of graduation and 88% received one, on a 98% reporting rate. The most recent salary figures are a year older, from the Class of 2024 employment report: a mean of £92,228, ranging from £24,000 to £192,000, plus other compensation averaging £42,124 in sign-on and end-of-year bonuses. By sector the means are consulting £99,866, finance £92,758 — investment management £109,902 and investment banking £102,260 inside it — and technology £80,180. Two caveats LBS states itself: the salary data excludes sponsored and self-employed students per MBA CSEA guidelines, and it publishes a mean rather than a median, so the £192,000 top end pulls it upward.

The employment rate within three months of graduation is 86%.

It is left out of the "#N of 51" ranking on purpose: salary is the FT weighted figure measured about three years after graduation (USD, PPP-adjusted) — not a starting salary. A school's own figure is not measured the same way, so ranking the two together would invent a comparison.
