There is no GMAT or GRE requirement for the MMT, and LMU publishes no admitted-student test average — so there is no range for us to quote. The programme selects on an aptitude assessment (Eignungsverfahren) instead, and it is a genuinely staged one. Stage one is the formal check: a bachelor's of at least 180 ECTS, held either as a business degree with a minimum of 20 ECTS in informatics or computer science, an informatics degree with a minimum of 20 ECTS in business, or an interdisciplinary degree carrying at least 20 ECTS in each. At least 15 ECTS of that minor must already be completed when you apply, and the bachelor grade must be 2.3 or better on the German scale — cut rather than rounded, so 2.31 through 2.39 all count as 2.3. English must be at CEFR C1, evidenced by a certificate issued within the last two years, unless you are a native speaker or your bachelor's was taught entirely in English. Candidates who clear that sit an online exam on foundational knowledge, and those who do well are invited to an online interview with the programme's professors. So the file that gets in is one where the bachelor transcript already shows both halves of the degree — not one propped up by a test score.
