No GMAT, no GRE, and no work-experience minimum — but three conditions decide whether you are eligible at all. ISM's published master's entry requirements name no admissions test: the documents are a bachelor's diploma and supplement, a transcript, proof of English, a CV, a motivation letter, a passport copy and a photo, plus the EUR 100 fee.² ³ First condition: the subject of your bachelor's. 'For admission to the International Marketing and Management programme, candidates must have completed a bachelor's degree in the field of management. Candidates from other fields must have completed at least 18 ECTS credits in subjects related to business, management, economics, marketing, or finance.'² A professional (college) bachelor's from a non-major field needs 30 ECTS, and where the credits are short ISM may set bridging additional studies — reduced if you have 'at least one year of work experience in the field of the programme', which for this degree it defines as 'marketing, advertising, communication, commerce and product and service development'.³ Second: the interview, which everyone sits and which you can fail. 'Admission to the study programmes is open to applicants who have a positive result in the admissions interview (at least 5 points)', scored by the programme director and/or a lecturer and/or the admissions manager on subject competences and on 'communication in English, leadership, logical thinking, argumentation'.³ Third, and this is the clause to read twice: a GMAT can still be asked for. After assessing a foreign qualification, 'ISM reserves the right to request additional documents proving the level of acquired academic knowledge … Additional evaluation may require the applicant to submit GMAT (Graduate Management Admission Test) results or other exam results as specified by ISM.'³ That is a discretionary power over international files rather than a published requirement, which is why this profile records the test as not required and prints the clause instead of hiding it. English is its own gate and an unusually open one: IELTS Academic 6.5 with no section below 6.0, TOEFL iBT 79, Cambridge B2 First or C1 Advanced 176, PTE Academic 59, Duolingo 125, or ISM's own test at 70 — accepted only if taken 'no earlier than two years before the start of studies'.³ The waiver carries no country condition at all, which almost no school in our IELTS and TOEFL guide can say: 'A document confirming secondary or higher education completed in English' qualifies, as does six months of Erasmus study with 30 ECTS in English, a six-month internship abroad in English, or an employer's certificate covering six months in an English-language role.³ It is a committee decision rather than an entitlement, and ISM 'reserves the right to request applicants to take an additional ISM or other recognized English language test after a motivational interview, regardless of the English proficiency document submitted'.³ Wider context: MiM in Europe without the GMAT and GMAT vs GRE.
