IESE Business School MiM GMAT Score

Master in Management (MiM) · Madrid, Spain · FT #16

IESE requires an aptitude score for the Master in Management but is flexible about which one — it accepts the GMAT, the GRE, or its own IESE admissions test. There is no published class-average GMAT; for reference, IESE lists an admitted range of roughly 545–715 on the GMAT Focus edition (580–750 on the classic GMAT). No work experience is required, as the MiM is a pre-experience degree.

IESE Business School does not publish a GMAT range.

Work experience0–2 years

Most European MiM programs, including this one, accept the GRE and often the GMAT Focus Edition or a school-specific test as alternatives, and weigh the whole application — academics, internships, essays, and interview — rather than the score alone.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need work experience or the GMAT for the IESE MiM?
No work experience is required — the MiM is a pre-experience degree for recent graduates and final-year students. Applicants submit an aptitude score; IESE accepts the GMAT, the GRE, or its own IESE admissions test, alongside transcripts, a recommendation letter and proof of English proficiency for non-native speakers.
What GMAT score do you need for the IESE Master in Management?
IESE does not publish a class-average GMAT, and you are not obliged to take the GMAT specifically — the GRE and IESE's own admissions test are accepted alternatives. For reference, IESE has cited an admitted range of roughly 545–715 on the GMAT Focus edition (580–750 on the classic GMAT). As a pre-experience programme it weighs academics, the aptitude score and fit together rather than a single cut-off.
