The GMAT and GRE are optional for the M.Sc. Management Science, not required. Goethe states that a strong GMAT/GRE result can positively influence selection but is not a mandatory admission criterion — so there is no minimum score, and the school publishes no admitted-student GMAT average, meaning there is no range to quote here. The binding gates are instead the academic ones: a bachelor's in economics or business administration (or a related degree carrying at least 90 ECTS of economics, management or business content over a minimum six-semester programme) and proof of English — TOEFL iBT 95, IELTS Academic 7.0, Cambridge C1 or UNIcert level 3, each no more than five years old (waived if your bachelor's was taught in English in a predominantly English-speaking country). Admission is genuinely competitive — the cohort is capped near 42 and recent intakes have averaged a very strong bachelor's grade — so a good GMAT/GRE is best read as a way to strengthen a borderline file, not a box to tick. If you are weighing test-optional routes generally, see our guide to a MiM in Europe without the GMAT.
Goethe University Frankfurt does not publish a GMAT range.

A GMAT or GRE is not required to apply to the Goethe University Frankfurt MiM — it is one of the 64 of 103 Master's in Management we track (about 62%) that admit without a required test. See every European MiM you can apply to without a GMAT on our MiM without the GMAT shortlist, or read how GMAT waivers work.
Most European MiM programs, including this one, accept the GRE and often the GMAT Focus Edition or a school-specific test as alternatives, and weigh the whole application — academics, internships, essays, and interview — rather than the score alone.
