For the 2026 intake the main application round closed on 17 May, but the deadline is soft in a way worth knowing: as re-checked on 29 August 2026 ESMT states that applications submitted after 30 June are still considered, and that a very limited number of places remain on a rolling basis for candidates who do not need a visa, against a 8 September 2026 start. Visa and scholarship applicants should still apply in the main round, because it is the visa timeline rather than the school that closes the door. Dates for the September 2027 intake are not published yet.
