The standard International Management route asks for no recommendation letters and no admissions interview, which leaves the test and the transcript carrying more of the file than they do elsewhere. Admitted scores cluster at 600–720 with an average near 650; Bocconi accepts the GMAT Focus Edition and the GRE, and its own Bocconi Test and the Italian TOLC-E stand in for some applicant profiles. Selection rests on three compulsory elements — the test score, undergraduate GPA and transcripts, and the dossier and motivation assessed by the programme director — with a short English video presentation encouraged but optional. Four of this programme's own tracks are the exception, and Bocconi calls their extra step an interview: IM CEMS MIM, IM Asia – China MIM, IM Asia – DD Bocconi-ESSEC and the IM Concentration – DD ESSEC Luxury Management each require a mandatory recorded video interview, three questions at two minutes each.
