GMAT & Test Scores

University of Cologne MiM GMAT Score

CEMS Master in International Management · Cologne, Germany · FT #37

Neither the GMAT nor the GRE is mandatory for admission to the University of Cologne's CEMS MIM. The WiSo Faculty strongly recommends submitting an admission-test score (GMAT, or the faculty's own GTEBS/TM-WISO test) because it strengthens an application in the points-based selection, but there is no minimum score and a strong academic record can carry an application without one. No class-average GMAT is published.

University of Cologne does not publish a GMAT range.

Most European MiM programs, including this one, accept the GRE and often the GMAT Focus Edition or a school-specific test as alternatives, and weigh the whole application — academics, internships, essays, and interview — rather than the score alone.

Frequently asked questions

Do you need the GMAT for the Cologne CEMS MIM?
No. Neither the GMAT nor the GRE is required. The WiSo Faculty strongly recommends an admission-test score (GMAT or its own GTEBS test) because it adds points in the selection process, but there is no minimum and no published class average, and a strong academic profile can succeed without one.
