The GMAT is not required for Bath's MSc Management. Entry is an undergraduate degree at least equivalent to a UK 2:2–2:1 (the exact bar depends on the institution attended) in any discipline excluding business and management — it is a conversion course built for non-business graduates — plus IELTS 6.5 overall (no component below 6.0), or an accepted equivalent. No work experience is required. Bath is one of the few UK schools whose English exemption reaches past the UK Visas and Immigration country list, which matters if you are applying from India or from West or East Africa. A degree of at least 12 months at UK bachelor's, master's or PhD level from a UKVI majority English-speaking country exempts you if it was awarded no more than two years before admission — but nationals of Ghana, Kenya, Nigeria, South Africa, Uganda and India get five years, and Bath adds a route those countries do not usually get at all: an English-medium degree studied at an institution IN India, Ghana, Kenya, Nigeria, South Africa or Uganda, awarded within five years, evidenced by an official medium-of-instruction document from the awarding university. Indian nationals must additionally show Core English in the Indian 12th Standard — 75% from a CBSE, ISC or CISCE board, or 80% from a state board, for a course asking IELTS 6.5 with 6.0 in each component, which is this one. One trap worth knowing before you upload anything: Bath states that if you submit an English test result that does not meet the course requirement, you lose the exemption and must supply a qualifying score instead.
