Is Cork University Business School accredited?
Yes — it holds all three of the international accreditations that make up the 'triple crown'. Cork University Business School was already accredited by AACSB and AMBA, and its own accreditations page records EQUIS as 'achieved in December 2025', completing the set; UCC announced it publicly on 29 January 2026, describing EQUIS alongside AACSB and AMBA as 'the three most rigorous and internationally recognised quality standards in business education' and noting that fewer than 150 business schools worldwide hold all three. That makes CUBS Ireland's fourth triple-accredited business school, and the first outside Dublin. We do not attach a Financial Times or QS position to this specific MSc, because neither table lists it — so judge it on its accreditations, its structure and its fit rather than on a rank we cannot stand behind.
Can I work in Ireland after the UCC MSc, and does being in Cork rather than Dublin matter?
Ireland's post-study route does not depend on which city you studied in: non-EU graduates of an eligible Irish master's can typically apply for the Third Level Graduate Programme (the 'Stamp 1G'), which allows up to 24 months to look for and take up employment after graduating. What Cork changes is the recruiting market on your doorstep. Dublin has the denser concentration of European headquarters, but Cork hosts substantial multinational operations of its own — Apple's European headquarters at Hollyhill, the city's largest private employer with around 6,000 staff, among them — and UCC's own graduate list for this programme names Google, Meta, Stripe, HubSpot, Dell, Accenture, Deloitte and Nike alongside Irish consumer names like Jameson, Gym+Coffee and Dingle Distillery.
