MBS does not require the GMAT for international admission to its Master in Management. The international route is assessed through an online application file, an English-proficiency test and a pre-recorded video interview rather than a standardised entrance exam — and where a reasoning test applies, MBS offers its own free in-house test as an alternative to the GMAT/GRE/Tage Mage. Because there is no GMAT gate on that route and MBS does not publish an admitted-student GMAT average, there is no score range to quote here. You will still need to clear the academic-level requirement (120 ECTS / two post-secondary years for Year 1 entry; 180 ECTS / a completed bachelor's for direct Year 2 entry) and an English threshold (e.g. IELTS 5.5 / TOEFL iBT 75 / Duolingo 90 for Year 1, with a free MBS English test accepted). If you are weighing test-optional routes generally, see our guide to a MiM in Europe without the GMAT.

Montpellier Business School does not publish a GMAT range.

MiMs we track admitting without a required GMAT/GRE 64 of 103

A GMAT or GRE is not required to apply to the Montpellier Business School MiM — it is one of the 64 of 103 Master's in Management we track (about 62%) that admit without a required test. See every European MiM you can apply to without a GMAT on our MiM without the GMAT shortlist, or read how GMAT waivers work.

Most European MiM programs, including this one, accept the GRE and often the GMAT Focus Edition or a school-specific test as alternatives, and weigh the whole application — academics, internships, essays, and interview — rather than the score alone.

Frequently asked questions

Do you need the GMAT for the MBS Master in Management?
No. MBS admits international applicants to its Master in Management through an online application file, an English-proficiency test and a pre-recorded video interview rather than a mandatory GMAT, GRE or Tage Mage — and where a reasoning test applies, the school offers its own free in-house test as an alternative. You will still need to meet the academic-level requirement (120 ECTS for Year 1 entry, or a completed bachelor's / 180 ECTS for direct Year 2 entry) and an English threshold. Because there is no GMAT gate on the international route, MBS publishes no admitted-student score average, so there is no range to quote.
