How long is the IE Master in Management?
The IE MiM is 15 months full-time, not 12 — earlier published descriptions sometimes carry an outdated 12-month figure. The programme runs across three academic terms with an option to add a Lab period or an international module. IE offers two start dates per year — September and January — which is unusual among top European MiMs and supports candidates whose application timing doesn't align with a single annual intake.
How much does the IE MiM cost?
The all-in figure for the current cycle is about €51,200 for the full 15-month programme — €50,000 in tuition plus the one-time €1,200 IE Foundation contribution (a €150 application fee applies separately). IE reviews tuition each year, so confirm the current number on the school's admissions-and-fees page. Living costs in Madrid typically run €12,000–€18,000 per year — moderate by European-capital standards. IE offers a portfolio of merit and need-based scholarships covering up to a substantial share of tuition; the IE Foundation, country-specific funds (notably for Latin American, African, and Asian candidates), and corporate sponsorships are all part of the funding ecosystem.
Does IE Business School use rolling admissions?
Yes — IE operates rolling admissions rather than fixed competitive rounds. Applications are reviewed continuously, with decisions typically issued within four to six weeks of submission. The illustrative cut-offs for the September 2027 intake are 15 November 2026 (early consideration), 15 February 2027 (R2), and 15 May 2027 (R3), but candidates can apply at any point. Earlier applications carry the usual advantages of larger seat availability and earlier scholarship visibility.

Technology is the largest single destination at around 22% of placements, followed by consulting (21%) and finance (20%). Retail and marketing/media round out the top five sectors. The employment rate at three months post-graduation was 88% in the most recent class, with weighted three-year salary on the FT 2025 ranking reported at US $95,000.
