Curriculum & Structure

Application & Deadlines

Entry is a UK first- or second-class honours degree (or international equivalent), with no subject restriction and no work experience required.¹ The GMAT is not required. The English requirement is IELTS 6.5 overall, with at least 5.5 in every component.¹

Read Cranfield’s English rule as a country rule, not a first-language one. The course page states it universally — “To study for a formal award at Cranfield you will need to demonstrate that you can communicate effectively in English in an academic environment” — and the entry-requirements page gives exactly two ways out: being “a national of the UK, or a country on the UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) list of majority English speaking countries”, or having “obtained a higher education level qualification, within five years of the start of your course, from the UK or a country on the UKVI list”.⁴ That list runs Antigua and Barbuda, Australia, The Bahamas, Barbados, Belize, Canada, Dominica, Grenada, Guyana, Ireland, Jamaica, Malta, New Zealand, St Kitts and Nevis, St Lucia, St Vincent and the Grenadines, Trinidad and Tobago, the USA and the UK — no South Asian or African country appears on it, and Cranfield publishes no medium-of-instruction route at all. So an English-taught degree from India, Pakistan, Nigeria or Ghana does not exempt you here, and a degree from a listed country stops working once it is more than five years old.
