Ca' Foscari is a public university, so tuition is set by national and regional rules rather than by a business school. Part-time enrolment is charged at 65% of the flat fee. When are Ca' Foscari's admission rounds, and does applying late cost anything?
Rounds are citizenship-specific and apply.unive.it shows you only the version for the nationality you set on its home page. For 2026/27 they ran 17 December 2025 to 14 January 2026 and 4 February to 4 March 2026, with a final master's deadline of 17 June 2026 for EU/EEA citizens and non-EU applicants already holding an Italian residence permit; the portal now states that non-EU applicants requiring a visa can no longer apply for 2026/27. Applying late costs two things. Ca' Foscari's Honours Scholarships are open to candidates of the first and second rounds only, so a June application is admissible but not fundable. And you may submit only one application per academic year — a €30 fee covers up to two programmes inside it and the priority order cannot be changed afterwards, so you cannot apply for one programme in an early round and another later. Expect a decision on your first-priority master's roughly eight weeks after your round closes. The 2027/28 calendar was not published as of 2 September 2026.
What are the conditions on a Ca' Foscari Honours Scholarship?
More than the headline suggests, and they are set out in the university's own call for applications. Twenty awards of €10,000 a year for up to two years go to master's entrants from the first and second admission rounds. Candidates are scored out of 98 — up to 60 for the bachelor's weighted average (a minimum of 8.5 out of 10 just to be eligible), 16 for up to two academic reference letters, 15 for a three-minute motivational video and 7 for a language certificate — so the 85% CGPA is the floor, not the winning bar. A maximum of four awards may go to candidates of the same citizenship. Awardees are not exempt from tuition and the money is taxable in Italy. The second year renews only on 48 ECTS earned by 30 September at a weighted average of at least 26/30, and a revoked scholarship must be repaid. Article 2 of the call also makes the award incompatible with any other scholarship from the Italian government or an Italian public institution, including the Veneto Region's need-based grant.
Is Ca' Foscari accredited?
Yes. Ca' Foscari's Department of Management — Venice School of Management — was accredited by EFMD's EQUIS scheme, announced in December 2023, making it the second public university department in Italy to hold that accreditation. Ca' Foscari does not appear on the Financial Times Masters in Management table, so accreditation and cost, not a league-table position, are the honest reference points here.
