A test is mandatory at Bocconi and it publishes floors, which is unusual. Bocconi states that "a GMAT score is required for the selection process" and that an application is not evaluated without a GMAT, GRE or the online Bocconi test. The published minimums are 500 out of 800 on the standard GMAT and 485 out of 805 on the GMAT Focus Edition; the GRE is accepted on a combined Verbal + Quantitative basis, with the Analytical Writing section not considered and the lowest listed acceptable combination at Verbal 130 / Quantitative 165. Certain dual-degree routes ask for more — GMAT 555, or a GRE equivalent with at least 150 in each of the quantitative and verbal sections. Bocconi publishes no class-average score for this programme.

Admitted students at Università Bocconi typically score in the Required · GMAT 500/800 or GMAT Focus 485/805 minimum GMAT range.

Most European MiM programs, including this one, accept the GRE and often the GMAT Focus Edition or a school-specific test as alternatives, and weigh the whole application — academics, internships, essays, and interview — rather than the score alone.
